Golf at Lykia World Antalya
Lykia Links Antalya sits on the resort grounds, so the walk from your room to the first tee replaces the usual morning transfer. For a group that wants to play every day without organising anything, that single fact shapes the whole week.
It is an 18-hole links course, still unusual on this coast where most courses are parkland tracks cut through pine forest. Expect open sightlines, wind that matters and firmer ground than you may be used to in Belek. It rewards players who enjoy running the ball into greens rather than flying every approach.
We hold tee times with the course directly. Tell us your preferred start times when you book and we confirm them before arrival, rather than leaving you to sort out play at reception. Handicap certificates are required: 28 for men, 36 for ladies. Buggies are included in packages for summer arrivals and can be added in other periods. The course is overseeded from mid-September to early October each year, and buggy use stays restricted for a short period afterwards while the new grass establishes. If your dates fall in that window we will tell you plainly before you book.
Groups of eight or more golfers get the eighth place free (7+1), which is why society trips and club tours work well here.
The hotel
Lykia World Antalya is a five-star ultra all-inclusive resort at Denizyaka, Manavgat, set between the Mediterranean and the Taurus mountains with 2.5 km of sandy beach of its own. It is quieter than the Belek strip: fewer hotels, less traffic and a long shoreline rather than a row of resorts.
Golf packages use the Deluxe Large Room, a one-bedroom room of 38 to 44 m² with a balcony or terrace, minibar, tea and coffee set, safe and wireless internet. Other room categories exist at the resort and we expect to offer more of them once renovation work finishes, but for now every package we sell is based on this room.
Winter golf guests are served at the Golf Links Restaurant, which runs open buffets for breakfast, lunch and dinner, with a selective snack menu between meals and a night buffet. The Links Bar is open from 07:00 to 02:00 and local drinks, house wine, draught beer and a selection of imported brands are included. Room service runs 24 hours and is charged separately.
Also on site: the spa with its indoor pool, Turkish bath, sauna and fitness centre, plus tennis courts and a golf pro shop. Wi-Fi, the in-room safe, the fitness centre and beach towels are included; spa treatments, tennis equipment, buggies and lessons are charged locally. In the winter months several open-air facilities close or run on shorter hours depending on the weather, so if a particular pool or restaurant matters to you, ask us before booking and we will check what is open for your dates.
Getting there
Antalya Airport is about 46 km away, roughly 50 minutes by road. Every package includes private airport transfers in both directions, with a driver meeting you outside the terminal. Flights from the UK, Germany and Scandinavia land in Antalya daily through the golf season, and we are happy to advise which arrival times still leave you enough of the day to play.
When to go
The golf season here runs from October to early December and from February to May. March, April, October and November give the best combination of temperature and green fee value. Summer is hot: playable early morning and late afternoon, priced accordingly, with buggies included. The hotel does not take golf packages between early December and the end of January.
