Ferragudo Golf is the newest course in the Pestana group’s Algarve portfolio. It lies inland near the fishing village of Ferragudo, across the Arade river from Portimão and close to Pestana’s Vale da Pinta and Gramacho courses. It opened in 2026, with a soft opening in June and full operation planned from September. Pestana describes it as the future flagship of its golf courses.
The course is a par 73 of 5,841 metres from the white tees, which makes it one of the more forgiving layouts in the area. It is laid out around historic ruins, including an old chapel near the 9th, 10th, 12th and 13th holes. Water only comes into play on the par-5 18th. As a new course, it is still maturing, and some facilities may be limited in the first season. Please ask us for the latest details when booking.

Is the course fully open?
Ferragudo had a soft opening in June 2026, with full operation planned from September 2026. We will confirm the current status when you book.
¿Hay límite de hándicap?
Yes. The maximum handicap is 28 for men and 36 for ladies, so please bring your handicap certificate.
Where can I stay?
Our 7-night Tivoli Carvoeiro packages include a round at Ferragudo, together with Faldo, O'Connor Jnr., Gramacho and Vale da Pinta.
Are airport transfers included?
No. Airport transfers are not included in our packages, but we can arrange them on request. Faro Airport (FAO), about 50 minutes by car.
