Championship course with Dye-style waste bunkers and water, beside a nature reserve.
San Roque Golf & Resort is the course that was known for years as the New Course of The San Roque Club. Since 2024 it has been run as a separate club under its own name. Perry Dye designed it with input from Seve Ballesteros, and it opened in 2003, hosting the Spanish Open in 2006 and European Tour Qualifying School finals.
The 18 holes, par 72, are laid out next to a protected nature reserve near Sotogrande, with views of the Mediterranean. Expect Dye trademarks: big waste bunkers such as the long one on the 13th, water on the par-5 7th, and a demanding 9th. The clubhouse has a pro shop, a panoramic terrace and La Criolla, an Argentine grill.
San Roque is about 25 minutes by car from Elba Estepona and is included in our Eagle and Birdie packages. Transport to the course is not included; most golfers hire a car.
