About the hotel

Hyatt Regency Cairo West is in a quiet business park on the Cairo to Alexandria desert road, next to the New Giza development. That puts NEWGIZA Golf Club very close by, and The Allegria, Palm Hills and Dreamland are all within reach by car. The Grand Egyptian Museum is about ten minutes away and the Pyramids around 20 minutes, so it is also one of the most convenient bases for sightseeing on a golf trip to Cairo.

There are 250 rooms and suites. Standard king and twin rooms measure 34 to 37 m² with floor-to-ceiling windows. Pyramid View rooms look out towards the plateau, Terrace rooms open straight onto the pool and Spa rooms have their own in-room spa corner. For dinner, Barranco serves Japanese-Peruvian food, Park Food Hall has eleven live kitchens, and The Lounge Bar is good for a drink after golf.

The heated outdoor pool, with its own bar, is the centre of the hotel in the afternoon. Pure Spa has massage, a sauna, a steam room and a jacuzzi, and the StayFit gym is open around the clock. Camp Hyatt keeps younger guests busy if the family has come along.

How far is the golf?

NEWGIZA Golf Club is a few minutes away and the other West Cairo courses are a short drive. All golf transfers are included in the package.

Can I book a Pyramid View room?

Yes. Deluxe and Pyramid View rooms are available for a supplement per room per night. Ask us and we will add it to your quote.

Which meals are included?

The package is on a bed and breakfast basis. Half board can be added on request.

Is it a good base for sightseeing?

Very. The Grand Egyptian Museum is about ten minutes away and the Pyramids around 20. We can add a guided tour with an Egyptologist on a non-golf day.
