The golf
The courses
Valle Romano is the closest course to Elba Estepona Gran Hotel, about 3 km away at the foot of the Sierra Bermeja just west of Estepona. Cabell B. Robinson designed the 18 holes, which opened around 2010 on more than 60 hectares, keeping much of the native vegetation.
It is a gentle parkland course with sea and mountain views and an unusual feature: very large, undulating American-style greens averaging around 500 m². With about five sets of tees per hole it suits every level, and it has hosted Challenge Tour events.
The club has a driving range, short-game areas and an academy, and a clubhouse with restaurant and bar. Valle Romano is included in all three of our Elba Estepona packages.
