About the hotel
Meliá Grand Hermitage is a five-star resort on the beach at Golden Sands, 18 km north of Varna city and about 26 km from Varna Airport. It runs on an all-inclusive basis.
There is no golf course at the hotel. The three clifftop courses of the Kaliakra coast, BlackSeaRama, Lighthouse and Thracian Cliffs, lie further north along the coast; BlackSeaRama is about 30 km away. It is a good choice for groups that mix golfers and non-golfers and want a beach holiday as well as golf.
Classic rooms measure about 43 m², with sea or park views, and The Level rooms and suites have their own restaurant and services. The nine restaurants and bars include the Hermitage buffet, Al Dente (Italian), The Vine (Bulgarian) and an American diner. There are four pools, one of them indoors with warm mineral water, a wellness centre and gym, water slides and a kids’ club.
