We book 43 golf clubs in Portugal. 23 are in the Algarve, Europe's classic winter golf coast, with famous courses around Vilamoura, Vale do Lobo and Quinta do Lago. 15 are on the Lisbon coast, from Estoril and Cascais to Óbidos and Comporta, with links, clifftop and pine-forest courses. 5 are around Porto and the north, from Oporto Golf Club and the Estela links on the Atlantic to Amarante, Ponte de Lima and Vidago Palace inland.

When is the best time to play golf in Portugal?

Golf is played all year. Spring and autumn are the most popular seasons, winter is mild in the Algarve, and summer is hot but with long days.

Can you book tee times without a hotel?

Yes. We book green fees and tee times at the clubs we work with, with or without a hotel. Tell us your dates and handicaps when you enquire.

Do I need a handicap certificate?

Many clubs ask to see one, and some set a maximum handicap. Tell us your handicaps when you enquire and we will check the rules of the courses you want to play.
