The course
How does Lykia Links play?
Like the British and Irish coast, not like Belek. Perry Dye, son of Pete Dye, built a genuine links: sandy waste areas instead of rough, fast-running fairways and greens that reward a ball run along the ground. The wind decides the round, and a calm morning and a breezy afternoon play like two different courses.
Five sets of tees stretch the course from 4,768 to 6,925 metres, and tees are set by handicap; our packages normally play the gold tees at 6,321 metres. The maximum handicap is 28 for men and 36 for ladies. See Lykia Links for the scorecard and slope rating.

Why stay at Lykia World Antalya?
Lykia World Antalya is the resort around the course, so you walk from your room to the first tee instead of taking a morning transfer. It is a five-star ultra all-inclusive resort with 2.5 km of its own sandy beach between the sea and the Taurus mountains, and a spa with an indoor pool, Turkish bath and sauna.
It is much quieter than the Belek strip, which suits golf groups and societies; for groups of eight or more golfers the eighth place is free (7+1).

Can you combine Lykia Links with the Belek courses?
Yes. The Belek courses are about 25 km to the west, so a week at Lykia World can include a round or two on the pine-forest courses of Belek for contrast. When is the best time to play Lykia Links?
March, April, October and November give the best mix of temperature and value. The course is overseeded from mid-September to early October, and the hotel does not take golf packages between early December and the end of January.
