Hills Forrest
Three loops of six holes (Garden, Orchard and Dune) with Moroccan water basins, 4 hectares of lakes and 85 bunkers.
Noria Golf Club opened in 2014 on the road to Tahanaout, south of the city and close to the airport. American architects Hills Forrest designed it as three loops of six holes, called the Garden, the Orchard and the Dune, so the character changes as you play. Moroccan architecture is part of the course: rectangular water basins, minaret-style towers and a traditional basin that splits the 18th green.
The course is par 73 and around 6,750 metres from the back tees, with four hectares of lakes and 85 bunkers, so it rewards good course management. It is a pleasant contrast to the older parkland courses and the pure desert of Assoufid.
