Hotel Quinta do Lago overlooks the Ria Formosa lagoon at the southern edge of the Quinta do Lago estate. A wooden footbridge crosses the lagoon to the beach. The three Quinta do Lago courses, South, North and Laranjal, are a few minutes away, and the hotel runs a free shuttle to them. Vale do Lobo and the Vilamoura courses are within easy reach by car. The hotel is a member of The Leading Hotels of the World.

There are 141 rooms and suites, with garden or sea views. Our packages use the Garden View rooms. Brisa do Mar serves Portuguese and international food with views over the lagoon, Ca’ d’Oro offers Venetian-inspired dining, and the Laguna Bar is the place for an evening drink.

Facilities include a heated outdoor pool, an indoor pool, a children’s pool, a spa with Turkish bath and sauna, a gym and tennis courts. Faro Airport is about 20 minutes by car. Please note the hotel is closed from 8 November 2026 to 12 February 2027.

Where do I play?

All golf is on the Quinta do Lago courses. The 3-night package includes South and Laranjal, the 5-night package adds North, and the 7-night package includes two rounds each on South and Laranjal plus one on North.

Is there a golf shuttle?

Yes. The hotel runs a free shuttle between the hotel and the Quinta do Lago golf courses.

Are airport transfers included?

No. Our packages cover bed and breakfast and green fees. We can arrange a private transfer from Faro Airport, about 20 minutes away, on request.

Is the hotel open all year?

No. The hotel is closed from 8 November 2026 to 12 February 2027.
