Higuerón Marbella Golf Resort is the new name, since November 2025, of Marbella Golf & Country Club. Robert Trent Jones Sr. designed the 18 holes, par 72, which opened in 1994 in the hills above east Marbella; the course is being refreshed by Robert Trent Jones Jr.
It is often described as one of the most demanding courses on the Costa del Sol: ravines cross the early holes, fairways are narrow and many greens are elevated, with sea views from several holes. Buggies stay on the paths.
The club has a driving range, short-game areas, the El Olivo restaurant with terraces and a pro shop. It is about 35 minutes from Elba Estepona and is included in our Eagle package.

Yes. The club was bought by Higuerón Developments and renamed Higuerón Marbella Golf Resort in November 2025.
Is a buggy recommended?
Yes. The course is hilly and buggies are kept on the paths. Buggies are not included in our packages.
