Vila Galé Tavira is a 4-star hotel in the centre of Tavira, a historic riverside town in the eastern Algarve. The quieter east of the region has its own group of courses. Benamor is about 10 minutes away, Quinta da Ria and Quinta de Cima about 15 minutes, and Castro Marim and Quinta do Vale, near the Spanish border, about 25 minutes.

Our packages use a Standard Double Room. The hotel has 268 rooms, the Versátil buffet restaurant, a bar and a seasonal pool bar. There is an outdoor pool and a Satsanga spa with a heated indoor pool, Turkish bath and gym.

The old town, the riverside and the market are a short walk away, and the island beaches of Ilha de Tavira and Barril are a short boat or car ride. Faro Airport is about 40 minutes by car.

Where do I play?

The 3- and 5-night packages include Benamor, Quinta da Ria and Quinta de Cima. The 7-night package adds Castro Marim and Quinta do Vale.

Are airport transfers included?

No. Airport transfers are not included in our packages, but we can arrange them on request.

Do I need a car?

Golf shuttles are not included, so we recommend a hire car or taxis. Restaurants and shops in Tavira are within walking distance.
