Parkland course with water on many holes, a stream across the 7th and an island green at the par-3 15th.

St. Sofia Golf Club was founded in 2004 and lies in open countryside about 20 minutes from the centre of Sofia, making it the closest golf to the capital. The course covers about 135 acres (550 decares).

The 18-hole course is par 70, with two par 5s and four par 3s. Water is a regular feature, especially on the back nine: the 6th is played over water, a stream crosses the 7th fairway, the par-3 15th has an island green, and the long par-4 18th finishes beside a lake. The club has a golf academy and a pro shop, and the hotel’s restaurants and spa are next to the course.
