The Turkish Airlines Open 2027 is on the DP World Tour schedule for 29 April to 2 May 2027 at National Golf Club in Belek, according to Sky Sports' report on the 2027 schedule. This is the second year running that the tournament is held at National, one of Belek's longest-established courses. For golfers, it is a chance to watch a DP World Tour event and play some of Antalya's courses on the same trip.
Turkish Airlines Open 2027: dates and venue
Sky Sports published the dates as part of a wider set of 2027 schedule changes on the DP World Tour, formerly the European Tour. Those changes also moved the BMW PGA Championship because of the Ryder Cup. Here is what has been confirmed so far.
| Detail | What we know |
|---|---|
| Dagsetningar | 29 April – 2 May 2027 |
| Venue | National Golf Club, Belek, Antalya |
| Tour | DP World Tour |
| Tickets, field, TV and spectator arrangements | To be announced by the organisers |
We will not guess at ticket prices, the field or broadcast plans. These will come from the organisers nearer the time. The dates and the venue are enough to start planning.
How the 2026 tournament went at National Golf Club
According to the DP World Tour, the 2026 tournament was the ninth edition of the Turkish Airlines Open and the first time National Golf Club hosted a DP World Tour event. The prize fund was US$2.75 million, and 156 players from 32 countries took part.
Sky Sports reported that Mikael Lindberg of Sweden won on 10 under par, a total of 278. It was his first DP World Tour title, and it earned him a place in the PGA Championship. Our Nordic readers will be glad to see a Swedish name on the trophy in Belek.
A short history of the Turkish Airlines Open in Belek
According to Wikipedia and the DP World Tour, the tournament began in 2013. It was first played on other Belek courses, including the Montgomerie course at Maxx Royal and Carya Golf Club at Regnum Carya.
Past winners include:
- Brooks Koepka (2014)
- Justin Rose (2017 and 2018)
- Tyrrell Hatton (2019)
The tournament was part of the Rolex Series from 2017 to 2019. After a five-year gap, it returned to the schedule in 2025. Both earlier venues are open to visitors, so you can play three Turkish Airlines Open courses in a single holiday.
About National Golf Club, the tournament course
National Golf Club opened in 1994. The 18-hole, par-72 course was designed by David Feherty and David Jones and measures 6,429 metres. Nine of its holes are floodlit.
According to the DP World Tour, the club hosted the Turkish Airlines Challenge in 2014, long before its first DP World Tour event. Watching the professionals on a course you can later play yourself is one of the real pleasures of a tournament trip. You see which lines they take, and then you find out how differently the holes play from your own tee.
Watching the tournament and playing golf in the same week
Belek has 10 golf clubs with the equivalent of 15 18-hole courses. They are set between pine forest and beach, a short drive from each other. That makes it easy to split a week between watching and playing. You might spend two or three days at National following the tournament and play elsewhere on the others.
Playing National itself during tournament week is a different matter. The club will be busy with tournament preparation, so availability in the days around the event will depend on the club and the organisers. If playing the tournament course is important to you, consider going before or after, and ask us to confirm your tee times once the arrangements are clear.

Where to stay near National Golf Club
Two of the hotels we book offer packages that include golf at both Carya and National. That is a natural fit for a tournament week.
Regnum Carya
Regnum Carya sits next to Carya Golf Club, which is fully floodlit. It has a 450-metre Blue Flag beach, a 5,000 m² spa with heated pools and rooms from 62 m².
Regnum The Crown
Regnum The Crown is an all-suite hotel, with suites from 110 m², 500 metres from Carya. It shares the 450-metre Blue Flag beach and adds an adults-only rooftop infinity pool.
Because Belek's clubs are close together, other Belek hotels also work well as a base. Ask us about adding a round at National to a package elsewhere in the resort.
Plan early for tournament week
A DP World Tour event brings players, caddies, officials, media and spectators to Belek in the same few days. Rooms and tee times in the area will be in higher demand than in a normal late-April week. If you know you want to be there, it makes sense to secure your hotel and flights well ahead, then add tournament days once the organisers publish ticket and spectator details.
We have been arranging golf in Antalya since 1993 and can build a week around the tournament dates, with the hotel, green fees and private transfers in one package. Contact us with your dates and group size, and we will suggest the best fit.
