Golf in Turkey: Belek, Denizyaka, Kundu or Dalaman – Which Base Suits Your Trip?

Four bases for golf in Turkey compared: courses, airport transfers, atmosphere and 2026/27 starting prices, to help you choose where to stay.

For most visitors, golf in Turkey means one of four bases. Belek has the most courses, Denizyaka has a quiet links, Kundu is a beach resort close to Antalya Airport, and Dalaman is a new course on the south-west coast. Pick Belek for variety, Denizyaka for peace, Kundu for a short transfer with beach time, and Dalaman if you want somewhere new.

We have arranged golf holidays from Antalya since 1993. Below is how the four areas compare in practice, so you can choose before booking the 2026/27 winter season.

Why golf in Turkey is worth a winter trip

Turkey is one of Europe's leading winter golf destinations. Most of its courses are in Belek, 30 to 45 minutes from Antalya Airport. There is more golf at Lykia Links, east of Antalya, and at Dalaman on the south-west coast.

We book 20 golf hotels and 12 golf clubs. Many hotels sit right beside a course, so on most days you can walk or take a short shuttle to the first tee. That makes it easy to fit in golf every day of a week-long stay.

Belek: 10 golf clubs a short drive apart

Golf holidays in Belek are the classic choice. The resort area lies 25 to 40 km east of Antalya Airport, between pine forest and beach. It has 10 golf clubs with the equivalent of 15 18-hole courses, and they are close enough that you can play a different one each day.

The range is the main attraction:

Antalya Golf Club and Sueno Golf Club each have two 18-hole courses. Gloria Golf Club has 45 holes and a TrackMan range with 48 covered bays. Cornelia Golf Club has 27 holes by Sir Nick Faldo. National Golf Club opened in 1994 and was designed by David Feherty and David Jones. Cullinan Links has two par-71 courses by European Golf Design that opened in 2021.

If you would like to play after dark, Carya is fully floodlit. Nine holes are floodlit on the Montgomerie, the National and Gloria's New Course, and both Cullinan Links courses have floodlit closing nines.

Check the season when you choose a hotel. Kaya Belek Hotel is open until 1 December 2026. Gloria Golf Resort is closed for renovation from 1 December 2026 to 30 April 2027, but Gloria Serenity Resort, next to the same 45 holes, is open all winter. Belek packages start from €507.

Denizyaka is a quiet stretch of coast about 25 km east of Belek and 50 minutes from Antalya Airport. It is home to Lykia Links, an 18-hole, par-72 course of 6,321 metres designed by Perry Dye. When it opened in 2008, it was the first links course in Turkey.

The course is on the grounds of Lykia World Antalya, a short walk from the rooms, so there is no daily transfer. The resort is ultra all-inclusive and has a 2.5 km private beach. We confirm tee times before you arrive, and in groups of eight or more the 8th golfer plays free.

The trade-off is choice. With one course on site, Denizyaka suits golfers who prefer the same course and a calm resort to touring several clubs. Packages start from €528.

Kundu: a beach base with golf at Montgomerie Maxx Royal

Kundu is a beach resort area between Antalya's Lara district and Belek, about 18 km from Antalya Airport. It has no golf course of its own. Our packages stay at Voyage Kundu and play the Montgomerie Maxx Royal course in Belek, about 25 minutes away, with transfers included.

Voyage Kundu was renovated in 2026. It is ultra all inclusive, with eight restaurants, a sandy beach and seven pools. The airport transfer takes about 20 minutes, which helps after a late flight or on a short break.

Kundu suits mixed groups where not everyone plays every day, and golfers who want a beach holiday with a few rounds. Packages start from €569.

Dalaman: Turkey's newest golf destination

Dalaman, on the south-west coast, is Turkey's newest golf destination. The Dalaman Golf Club opened in 2026 at Sarigerme. It is an 18-hole, par-72 course of 6,152 metres designed by Andrew Craven.

The course is next to Hilton Dalaman Sarigerme Resort & Golf, which runs a free shuttle to the first tee. The Hilton is Ultra All Inclusive, with a private beach and a large spa with a Turkish bath. Every package includes a shared buggy.

Dalaman uses a different airport from the other three bases, about 20 minutes from the hotel. It suits golfers who have already played Belek and want something new. Packages start from €770.
