Pravets Golf Club was designed by Peter Harradine and opened in 2011. It lies in a valley beside Pravets Lake, between the lake and the Stara Planina mountains, less than an hour’s drive north-east of Sofia and next to Hyatt Regency Pravets Resort.
The 18-hole course is par 72. The fairways are lined with trees and shaped with plenty of contouring, and both nines finish on a shared double green in front of the clubhouse. There is an academy with a driving range and practice area, a clubhouse restaurant with a terrace over the course and the lake, and electric buggies and trolleys for hire. The club has hosted the PGA Professional Championship of Europe.

Less than an hour by car from the city, and about 50 minutes from Sofia Airport.
Can I combine it with other courses?
Yes. OKOL Golf Club, south-east of Sofia, can be added as a day out, and Pirin Golf & Country Club near Razlog suits a longer trip.
