A shorter, technical course through eucalyptus and tamarisk forest where iron play matters more than length.
Golf du Soleil is the busiest club in Agadir and the easiest to fall in love with. It sits in a eucalyptus and tamarisk forest a few kilometres south-east of the city, with two full 18-hole courses, a golf academy and the Tikida Golf Palace hotel inside the estate. The first holes opened in 1999, and the Championship course was fully renovated and reopened in 2019 with new greens, remodelled tees and rebuilt lakes.
The Championship course is the longer of the two: a flat, open layout in the Florida style, with flowering gardens, several lakes and well-bunkered greens. It is easy to walk and suits every level. The Tikida course is shorter but more technical, winding through the forest with narrow fairways on the front nine and more open, longer holes on the way home. Because Golf du Soleil is so popular, tee times go quickly in winter, so we book them well before you travel.
