Amelkis Golf Club

Amelkis is one of the established names in Marrakech golf. Cabell B. Robinson designed its 27 holes, which opened in 1995 in the Amelkis residential district about 12 km along the road to Ouarzazate. The three loops of nine can be combined in different ways, so you can play here twice in a week without repeating the same round. The club hosted the Moroccan Open on the European Tour in 2000.

The club describes itself as one of the most technical courses in Morocco. Wide fairways give you room off the tee, but lakes, creeks, sandy dunes and well-placed palms make the approach shots demanding, and the Atlas Mountains fill the horizon. The practice facilities are good and the clubhouse restaurant is open every day.
