Why play golf in Marrakech?
Marrakech has 12 of the best golf clubs in North Africa within about 30 minutes of the city, dry sunny winters and short flights from the UK. Our packages include your rounds, private golf and airport transfers, and start from £675 / €785 per person for 2026/27.
Marrakech is one of the great winter golf destinations, about three and a half hours from London. More than a dozen courses surround the city, from the historic parkland of Royal Golf Marrakech, founded in 1927, to modern desert layouts by Jack Nicklaus, Kyle Phillips and Colin Montgomerie, almost all with the snow-capped High Atlas on the horizon.
We work with our long-standing partner in Marrakech to offer simple, flexible packages: 7, 5 or 4 nights with 5, 4 or 3 rounds, private golf and airport transfers, and a choice of twelve hotels from good-value all inclusive resorts to the Fairmont Royal Palm with its own championship course. Our team books the tee times and looks after you before and during the trip.

Which golf courses in Marrakech should I play?
Most of our packages let you choose your courses, and we book the tee times before you travel. A good week mixes styles:
- Royal Golf Marrakech: the historic parkland course close to the medina, laid out in 1927.
- Assoufid and Akenza: pure desert golf, with rocky waste areas and canyons.
- Samanah and Al Maaden: signature designs by Jack Nicklaus and Kyle Phillips.
- The Montgomerie, PalmGolf Ourika and Noria: friendly, well-kept courses close to the city, good for a first round.
A caddy or scout caddy is compulsory at Royal Golf, Royal Palm, Samanah and Assoufid and is paid locally. Please bring your handicap certificate.

Which Marrakech golf hotel is right for you?
Stay on the course: Fairmont Royal Palm has its own championship course, and Hotel du Golf, Palmeraie Golf Palace and Palmeraie Golf Suites sit beside Palmeraie Golf Club.
All inclusive and a choice of courses: Kenzi Club Agdal Medina, Kenzi Menara Palace, Iberostar Waves Club, Sol Oasis and Be Live Experience, with private transfers to every round.
Adults only: Be Live Collection and Hotel du Golf.
Walk to the medina: Naoura Barrière at Bab Doukkala, a short walk from Jemaa el-Fna.

When is the best time to play golf in Marrakech?
October to May. Winter days are usually dry and sunny with afternoon temperatures in the high teens or low twenties, which is ideal for golf, while mornings can be cool. Spring is warmer and very popular, and Easter books up early. Summer is hot, but prices are lower and early tee times make golf comfortable.

How many golf courses are there in Marrakech?
More than a dozen. Our packages use the main 18-hole clubs, including Royal Golf, Palmeraie, Amelkis, Al Maaden, Assoufid, Samanah, Royal Palm, The Montgomerie, Tony Jacklin, PalmGolf Ourika, Noria and Akenza.
What is included in a Marrakech golf package?
Your hotel stay, your rounds of golf, private golf transfers (except at hotels with their own course), private airport transfers and tourist taxes. Flights, caddies where compulsory and buggies are extra unless stated.
How much does a golf holiday in Marrakech cost?
Our packages start from £675 / €785 per person sharing for 2026/27. Prices depend on the hotel, the dates and the number of nights and rounds.
Can I choose which courses I play?
Yes, at most hotels you choose your courses from our list and we book the tee times. At Hotel du Golf, Palmeraie Golf Palace and Palmeraie Golf Suites the rounds are at Palmeraie Golf Club, and at the Fairmont they are at Royal Palm, with other courses available for a supplement.
Are caddies compulsory in Marrakech?
At some clubs, yes. A caddy is compulsory at Royal Golf Marrakech, and a scout caddy is compulsory at Royal Palm, Samanah and Assoufid. They are paid locally.
Do I need a visa for Morocco?
UK and most EU passport holders do not need a visa for a tourist stay of up to 90 days. Please check the current rules for your nationality before you travel.
Are there early booking discounts?
Yes, several hotels offer them. The saving and the booking deadline are shown next to the dates in each hotel's price table.
