SO/ Sotogrande Spa & Golf Resort is a five-star hotel in Sotogrande, at the western end of the Costa del Sol. The Alto Club is in the hotel grounds, La Reserva is about five minutes away and Valderrama is close by, which makes it one of the easiest bases in Spain for a golf trip: on Alto days you walk from your room to the first tee.

The resort is a modern take on an Andalusian cortijo, with 152 rooms and suites. Our packages use the SO/ Cosy Room with breakfast. For dinner there is Cortijo Santa María 1962 for Andalusian cooking, IXO for tapas and cocktails on the Plaza Andaluza, the Society Clubhouse with views over the course and the sea, and in summer the MARXA chiringuito by the pool. Half board can be added for the whole stay.

After golf, the 3,500 m² spa and wellness club has a 20-metre indoor pool, a hydrothermal circuit, sauna and hammam, and a 24-hour gym; access to the fitness club and hydrothermal circuit is included. Gibraltar Airport is 25 km away and Málaga 109 km.

Hur långt är det till golfen?

The Alto Club is in the hotel grounds. La Reserva is about 5 minutes by car and La Hacienda Alcaidesa about 15 minutes. Transfers to other courses are not included; most groups hire a car or we can arrange transport.

Which meals are included?

Our packages are bed and breakfast. Half board can be added for €60 per person per day; it must be booked for the whole stay and is not available on Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve.

Are airport transfers included?

No. Gibraltar Airport is 25 km away and Málaga 109 km. We can arrange private transfers on request.

What are the booking conditions?

Bookings must be made at least 30 days before arrival and are confirmed on full, non-refundable payment. Packages are for up to 8 rooms; larger groups on request.
