Why is Belek Turkey's golf capital?
Belek is a resort area on Turkey's Mediterranean coast, 25 to 40 km east of Antalya Airport. It has 10 golf clubs with the equivalent of 15 18-hole courses, set between pine forest and beach and a short drive from each other, and many hotels sit next to a first tee. Which golf courses in Belek are the best?
It depends on what you want from a round. These are the courses our clients ask for most:
- Montgomerie Maxx Royal: a Colin Montgomerie design that has hosted the Turkish Airlines Open. The best-known course in Belek.
- PGA Sultan at Antalya Golf Club: a long championship course through the pines, with the friendlier Pasha course next door.
- National Golf Club: Belek’s first championship course, opened in 1994, and still one of its best conditioned.
- Carya Golf Club: a heathland-style Peter Thomson course, fully floodlit so you can play after dark.
- Cullinan Links: two par-71 courses, Aspendos and Olympos, between the sea and the river, with floodlit closing nines.

When is the best time to play golf in Belek?
October to May. March to May and October to November are warm and the busiest; December to February is cooler, often around 15 to 17°C by day, and the cheapest time to go. Summer is hot, so book early tee times from June to August.
Between mid-September and mid-October each course is overseeded for about two weeks, one after another, so some courses are always open. Check the dates on our course maintenance calendar before you choose a hotel.

How far is Belek from Antalya Airport?
Belek is 25 to 40 km east of Antalya Airport, about 30 to 45 minutes by car depending on the hotel. Private transfers both ways are included in our packages.
Which is the best golf resort in Belek?
For golf on the doorstep and top-end service, Maxx Royal Belek (next to the Montgomerie) and Regnum Carya (next to the floodlit Carya) are the most requested. Gloria and Sueno suit golfers who want several courses at the hotel. The hotel list above is sorted by price so you can compare.
Can you walk to the golf course from your hotel in Belek?
At many hotels, yes. Maxx Royal, Regnum Carya, Kaya Palazzo, Sueno Hotels Golf, Cornelia Diamond, Robinson Club Nobilis and the Gloria resorts are next to their courses, and Kempinski The Dome and Sirene Belek are next to Antalya Golf Club. Other hotels have a short shuttle.

Yes. Carya Golf Club is fully floodlit, and Cullinan Links has floodlit closing nines, so you can play after dark, which is popular in the warmer months.
