Thracian Cliffs opened in June 2011 on the cliffs near Kavarna. The course is a Gary Player signature design and hosted the Volvo World Match Play Championship in 2013, won by Graeme McDowell.
The 18-hole course is par 72 and measures 6,452 metres from the black tees, with shorter tees for other players. Every hole has a view of the sea, and the 6th plays from the top of the cliff to a green about 40 metres below, surrounded by the sea. Buggies are charged separately from the green fee. The Thracian Cliffs Golf Academy gives lessons, and the pro shop is at the entrance to the course.

Thracian Cliffs Golf & Beach Resort is at the course. Lighthouse Golf & Spa Hotel and the Boutique Hotel BlackSeaRama are a few minutes away by car.
The pro shop keeps full hours from March to October; from November to February opening depends on the weather.
