The Lighthouse course was designed by Ian Woosnam with European Golf Design and opened in September 2008. It lies at Lighthouse Golf & Spa Resort, about 5 km east of Balchik, and hosted the European Tour Properties Senior Classic on the European Senior Tour in 2018.
The 18-hole course is par 71. Five lakes come into play, several holes run through woodland and many greens are raised, so approach shots need care; the short par-4 4th over water and the long par-4 18th stand out. Practice facilities include a driving range, putting and chipping greens and a practice bunker, and the clubhouse has the Prestige restaurant and the 19th Hole Bar & Grill. Buggies and trolleys can be hired.

Lighthouse Golf & Spa Hotel is at the course. The Boutique Hotel BlackSeaRama is about 2 km away, Thracian Cliffs about 6 km, and Meliá Grand Hermitage in Golden Sands further south.
How far is it from Varna Airport?
About 50 minutes by car.
Can I play the other courses nearby?
Yes. BlackSeaRama and Thracian Cliffs are a few minutes away, and we can book rounds on all three courses.
