Hyatt Regency Pravets Resort stands beside Pravets Lake in the foothills of the Stara Planina mountains, less than an hour’s drive north-east of Sofia and about 50 minutes from Sofia Airport. Until 2023 it was the RIU Pravets Golf & SPA Resort.

Pravets Golf Club, an 18-hole par-72 course designed by Peter Harradine, is next to the hotel. We can also book rounds at OKOL Golf Club on the other side of Sofia.

Rooms have lake or mountain views, and there are Regency and Executive suites. The Ortus Spa has two indoor pools and a children’s pool, and the resort has restaurants, a café and mini golf.

How far is it from Sofia?

Less than an hour by car from the city, and about 50 minutes from Sofia Airport. We can arrange airport transfers on request.

Which courses can I play?

Pravets Golf Club is next to the hotel. OKOL Golf Club, south-east of Sofia, can be added as a day out.

Is this the former RIU Pravets?

Yes. The hotel was the RIU Pravets Golf & SPA Resort until it became a Hyatt Regency in 2023.
